Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation has been a success the last 20 years through the dedication of thousands of volunteers all across the United States. Taste of the Nation has brought over 2,000 chefs, corporate sponsers and individuals together to battle childhood hunger in America. Through the combined efforts of these volunteers, which include public relations and marketing professionals, financiers and event planners, Taste of the Nation has raised over $70 million for anti-hunger organizations across the country.

Market Umbrella is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3), based in New Orleans, whose mission is to cultivate the field of public markets for public good. Market Umbrella has operated the Crescent City Farmers Markets (CCFM) since 1995.
The Crescent City Farmers Market operates weekly year-round in four New Orleans neighborhoods. The CCFM hosts nearly 80 local small farmers, fishers and food producers, and more than 100,000 shoppers annually.
