Last Tuesday was an historic day. Not only did our country elect the 44th President of the United States of America, our market community also answered the age-old question,
"Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" And the results are in... the egg! Thanks to everyone who voted online and at market. Looking for answers to other equally pressing questions, like "How much are those super cute, seasonally appropriate "I Live for Satsuma Season" t-shirts?" or "When will Ms Chauvin be at market to take my Thanksgiving pie order?" or "How do I sign my child up to be a Marketeer?" - stop by the Welcome Tent this week at market.
Market Umbrella is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3), based in New Orleans, whose mission is to cultivate the field of public markets for public good. Market Umbrella has operated the Crescent City Farmers Markets (CCFM) since 1995.
