Mirror, mirror on the wall, quel chien is Frenchiest of them all? Tuesday, the Alliance Francaise de la Nouvelle-Orleans joins us at the market to decide via a French poodle and French bulldog parade and pageant, with live music by Gypsy Swing.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the parade starts at 9:15 a.m., with judging (in the categories of chic-est, le toutou le plus fou! (or craziest), sweetest, Depardieu look-alike, best French kisser and Frenchiest). Prizes will be awarded at 9:45 a.m. after all of our four-legged French friends have made their way around the market. A special merci beaucoup in advance to our judges: Olivier Brochenin, Consul General de France, Alexandra Stafford, AFNO President and jazz pianist Ronnie Cole. Happy Bastille Day everyone!
