Join us on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate 15 years of growing farmers, fishers, our community and a regional economy
The Crescent City Farmers Market has grown from a fledgling flagship effort to revive New Orleans’ love affair with celebrating local food in public spaces into an incubator for regional farmers, fishers, and lessons that continue to press innovation forward in the field of public markets. This autumn, the Crescent City Farmers Market turns fifteen-years-old with an annual economic impact of $9.88 million. We’re celebrating with a divine, farm-to-fork, four-course dinner at Emeril’s Delmonico Restaurant at 1300 St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans. If this limited-seating event interests you, we’d love for you to join us. Four scrumptious seasonal courses featuring food from Crescent City Farmers Market vendors will be prepared by Chef de Cuisine Spencer Minch and paired with artisan Napa Valley wines from Oak Cliff Cellars.
