Kids out of school for the holidays? Bring them to the market this
Tuesday. In addition to learning more about where their food comes
from, kids looking to make sure they're on Santa's "nice" list can
help haul off sacks of Plaquemines Parish citrus and pecans (last
market of the season for Inglewood Farm, so stock up!), pretty plants
from Jim Mizell, and all the fixings and natural decorations for the
Market, December 23, 2010 | 3 pm - 7 pm
Last call for collards! Lots of folks have been asking, and the answer
is yes! We'll be out there this Thursday with plenty of locally-grown
produce, dairy, meat and seafood for the holiday table, and last
minute holiday gifts. Still have a few names to cross off your list?
Market tokens, available in $5 denominations, make great gifts,
especially when paired with something tasty from the market.
