Justin Pitts makes his return to the Tuesday market with his grassfed beef and pork. Come find him across from the Monica's just in time for holiday gatherings. Also, have you noticed the growing number of school children at the market recently? We're doing our Meet Me at the Market educational program again with scavenger hunts and satsuma tastings. We love having the next generation of good eaters with us at market. Their smiling faces as they discover new foods are a delight to behold!

We're sure you've been hearing about “Night Markets.” They're all the rage right now in cities across the country. Here in the Crescent City, we had a night market before they were a hit...at our Thursday evening market! With the tables all lit up, it certainly does feel festive right now at market. Don’t let the dark keep you away. Come out and make groceries after work until 7pm. Grab a glass of wine at Clever or a cup of hot cocoa at PJ’s and make grocery shopping an event!

With all of the holiday cooking you'll be doing, this is the perfect time to make sure your knives are sharp and ready for the heavy lifting. Arthur Jones is your answer to dull knives and sore shoulders. Bring your knives to him, do your shopping and pick them back up ready to prepare your next feast.
