We're crazy about pie here at the Crescent City Farmers Market! This Tuesday, Ms Chauvin, a.k.a. "the Pie Lady," will have fresh strawberry pie available at our market. With such great weather, a slice of pie on the porch sounds like the perfect way to end a long work day. Need something for dinner beforehand? Grab some of Jeannie Fonseca's crawfish tails and throw together a quick étouffée for a spring meal to rave about.

We're happy to report that Nur's Mediterranean Kitchen is back at our Thursday market. Hummus, stuffed grape leaves and tabouli are ready to grab and go for a quick, healthy snack or dinner. Did you know that Nur's family also has a pizza restaurant on Magazine Street near our Saturday market, Magazine Pizza? Stop by one day for some great pizza and that delicious hummus we all love!

Some egg-citing news for Saturday market shoppers! Donald Keller of Bayou Farm now has eggs to help fill the ever-growing demand for this farm fresh product. Donald also has beautiful pastured whole chickens (often including heritage breed birds) and cuts. Come by, grab some and no longer worry about which came first!
