From now until October (weather permitting), check with Jesse Nagle at our Tuesday and Saturday markets for locally grown apples. Recipe of the Week

In addition to being delicious, Gala apples (in season right now!) are a good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin C. Pair fresh Cherry Creek Orchards apple with jumbo shrimp from Pete and Clara's Seafood and Mizell Farms' basil for skewers that are apple-utely the best. Serve over Cajun Grain rice to complete the meal.
