In partnership with the New Orleans Public Library, the Crescent City Farmers Market is happy to announce our very own event for Teen Read Week 2012.
We will be welcoming teenagers from across the city to the Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center in Broadmoor, Wednesday October 17th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. There will be delicious market snacks, cooking demonstrations (with crowd participation!), door prizes, giveaways and even something for all participants to take home. We’re planning on discussing one of our favorite YA books: Catching Fire, the second in the Hunger Games Trilogy, but participants need not have read the book in advance! To RSVP, email email@example.com or call Robin at 504.596.2570. RSVPs are NOT required, but ARE appreciated.
