Happy Birthday to CCFM! Come celebrate with us.

Fresh & Local

Well, CCFM is 18 years old. We are just old enough to go to college, rebel a little, and become an adult! Seriously though, 18 years is a long time and we couldn’t be prouder or more thrilled to have been part of the New Orleans community. Celebrate with us this week at each of our markets. Tuesday, toast with market inspired “mock-tails”; Thursday, enjoy after-work and school popsicles, and Saturday we will enjoy cake and music. We hope to see everyone at market this week; new faces and old-hat shoppers. Let’s toast to the next 18 years of fresh, local food!

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special

This is La Cocinita’s last week as our Green Plate Special vendor, so be sure to stop by for some delicious tacos, arrepas, and more. This week’s specials include a "The Healthy Bowl" with brown rice, black beans, roasted butternut squash, corn & sweet pepper relish, & roasted garlic sauce. Finish up with a piece of tres leches cake and a glass of watermelon-lime agua fresca or horchata (cinnamon rice milk). Thanks for a tasty September, La Cocinita.
