GiveNOLA Day at the Crescent City Farmers Market!

Fresh & Local

Each week you support our community by buying groceries from local producers, and we thank you! But this week is extra crucial because you get to support Market Umbrella, our organization that makes the Crescent City Farmers Market possible. GiveNOLA Day is tomorrow, May 3rd, so come out to our very special market full of music, cooking demos, animals, and a couple surprises!

Pick of the Week:
Emelia Clement!

Check out Emelia Clement, the Orleans Parish SNAP Educator from LSU Ag, this Thursday (rescheduled due to last week’s rain) from 3pm-5pm to learn some market fresh recipes.

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special:
Carrollton Market

If you’ve shopped at the Crescent City Farmers Market, you know Chef Jason Goodenough. His commitment brings him to the frontlines of the New Orleans food scene each week at the farmers market. His restaurant, Carrollton Market, is a phenomenal show of talent, finesse, and appreciation for the food grown by our very own CCFM farmers.
