Melon Madness!

Fresh & Local

Beat the heat with the meat of a sweet melon! Our farmers are bringing watermelons, cantaloupes, and honeydews by the truckload. In fact, one of our farmers, Timmy Perilloux, had to bring two trucks on Saturday to get his fresh melons to market. As he cut up a cantaloupe at the Wednesday market, he tried to convince us that his melons are so sweet they make sugar taste salty! Find out for yourself at the farmers market this week.
