Mirliton Market!

Fresh & Local

Many of our shoppers get the heeby jeebies thinking about the laboratories their store-bought milk goes through, so we’re thrilled to have milk at our markets again! Country Girls Creamery, at our Tuesday and Saturday markets, bring some of their finest dairy products. Try them out for yourself!

Also, we would like to welcome our newest vendor, NOLA Green Baby. They combine the freshest ingredients with your youngster’s health and taste buds in mind. Find NOLA Green Baby each week at our Tuesday market.

On July 12th, farmers A&K will be bringing their heirloom mirliton plant starts so you’ll be able to take part in the revival of one of our region’s most culturally significant crops! Mark your calendar and be sure to prep your garden (and kitchen!) for a bountiful mirliton season.

Pick of the Week:
Hayden Aley

We would like to extend a special shout-out to Hayden Aley, owner of Girls Gone Vegan Baking and a one of our very own vendors. She was recently selected to be a part of the Catapult Fund. This New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation program provides business training and grant funds to entrepreneurs in the culinary arts. We are so proud of Hayden and excited to see what the future has in store for her!

Cheers for Charity!

On Thursday, July 14th, we will be the featured non-profit at The Rusty Nail, 1100 Constance Street. Between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm, a portion of all drinks purchased will benefit the Crescent City Farmers Market! So show up, enjoy a cocktail, and support your local farmers and fisherman.

Frencheeze Food Truck

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special: Frencheeze Food Truck

Last week, Frencheeze Food Truck dished out their finest cheesy sandwiches, and they were quite the success! We especially loved Skinny B, full of gooey gouda, basil aioli, and sautéed kale. Don’t miss out and catch them next Tuesday!
