Alligator hunts and cocktails at Crescent City's 'Moonlight Market' fundraiser

Imagine floating through the Louisiana bayous in search of alligator. Or, how about enjoying a week's worth of "shake-n-go salad jars" -- that is Mason jars filled with healthy salads -- that you dress, shake and eat? Or, maybe you'd like to gather friends for a "Morning of Wellness" with yoga and a "clean" brunch.

The auction items at Crescent City Farmers Market's Moonlight Market fundraiserare as tempting as the long line of dishes and cocktails from the more than 20 participating restaurants and bars.

The annual fundraiser is Saturday (Oct. 8) at 725 Magazine St., from 7 to 10 p.m., with a patron party at 6 p.m. The event features farm-to-table dishes, farm-to-glass cocktails, local beer and spirits and a performance by the Brass-A-holics. The event also features a silent auction.
