The weekly Saturday farmers market was held in a parking lot at the corner of Girod and Magazine Street for 20 years before the property owner in 2016 announced plans to redevelop the lot. Today the market operates at the corner of Carondelet and Julia Street, in a space owned and donated by the Domain Companies. Read more about the redeveloping neighborhood here.
