     Title: Market Stew

This market stew is a kissin’ cousin of smothered okra and shrimp Creole. Tomatoes, okra, pepper, and sweet shrimp inspired a CCFM shopper to create this happy summertime recipe.



Sauté onion and bell pepper in oil until tender. Add okra and Creole seasoning; sauté until okra is tender. Add tomatoes, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce; cook over low heat for an hour or more or until desired tenderness is reached. Add shrimp 5 minutes before serving, cooking just until shrimp turn pink. Add salt to taste.  Serve over rice.
