     Title: Roasted Brussels Sprouts


Serves 6

Serving size: ½ cup

 

Ingredients:

1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts

3 tablespoons olive oil

¾ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cut off the stems of the Brussels sprouts.
  3. Mix them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour them onto a cookie sheet and roast in the oven for 35-40 minutes.  Occasionally shake the pan for even cooking.
