Pick of the Week:
Satsumas are here!

This beautiful weather we’ve been having is no lie; Fall really is here! And you know what that means: It’s time for Satsumas! We’re so excited that STAR Nursery will be kicking off the season with us this Tuesday at our Uptown market. Be sure to come on out and grab yourself a bag and maybe even one of our ‘I Live For Satsuma Season’ t-shirts!

How the time does fly?

Twenty years really does go by so fast. If you haven’t had a chance yet, check out this fantastic interview our co-founder Sharon Litwin did with one of our founding farmers, Ben Burkett, as they reminisce on the past 20 years of the Crescent City Farmers Market. Hear the interview here.

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special

We’re really excited to welcome Red Gravy to the market as our Green Plate Special vendors for the month of October! They’ve already sent us their menu for this Tuesday and it sounds absolutely delicious!
Check it out:
• Hand-rolled meatballs with Red Gravy on Don Phoung French bread
• Penne pasta with pancetta, Butternut squash, peas and cream topped with amaretti
• Insalate Mercante (market salad)
• and Cannoli for dessert
Be sure to come out Tuesday and grab a plate!
