The Season of Celebration!
Fresh & LocalOur 20th anniversary Moonlight Market fundraiser brought together friendly faces from around the community, all beaming with delight from the delicious food and drinks provided by some of our generous rock star chef friends. Not long before that, we came together to remember 20 years of our Saturday market. The good times keep on rolling! This Wednesday, we’re celebrating one year at our French Market location in the Quarter. Join us for cooking demos, live music, local goods and more all market long. And be sure to take advantage of the 2 hours of free parking provided by the French Market. See you there! |

Tuesday’s Green Plate SpecialIt’s undeniable, Red Gravy loves the Crescent City Farmers Market and we love them! The chef and staff have come out to market for ages, so we’re happy to have them doing what they do best right in front of our eyes. As our Green Plate Special vendors for the month of October, they’ve started off with a bang. Here’s their delectable menu from last week: |

Recipe of the WeekJared Tees first made a name for himself during his tenure at Commander’s Palace where he worked under the legendary Chef Jamie Shannon. When Jared was the executive chef at the Bourbon House, he was inspired by the nonastringent green Fuyu persimmons that appear annually at the farmers market to create this contemporary salad. It is quite striking when served in a long-stemmed martini glass. Apple cider vinegar can be substituted for cane vinegar. |
