New Hours at the Wednesday Market!

Our new hours for the Wednesday market begin this week! We’ll be in the French Market from 1pm-5pm each week from now on, so stop by for strawberries, Louisiana shrimp, eggs, organically grown carrots and greens, cabbage big enough for the whole family, and more! Let us treat you to free parking in the French Market lot so you can see the bounty for yourself.

Pick of the Week: Kid Chef Eliana

Bring your marketeers out to the Saturday market this week for some food-inspired fun! We encourage our shoppers to bring their children to participate in our monthly marketeers activity to engage in the local food system. This week, Kid Chef Eliana will be leading a shopping tour to buy ingredients for the scrumptious food she’ll whip up for us right before of our eyes! She’ll begin shopping at 9:15am and cooking at 10am.

Chef Matthew Kopfler from L’enfant Terrible doesn’t mess around when it comes to his veggies. He accentuates flavors by letting the market-fresh produce shine through his dishes without clouding them with overly-complex preparations.
