It’s a big week for the farmers market. If the blueberries at last week’s market didn’t knock your socks off, this week’s early peaches will! Be sure to try Durham’s early-variety of peaches at the Tuesday and Thursday farmers market. And for all of you out there asking “Where has Timmy been,” have no fear, he’s back in action! This Tuesday, the New Orleans Public Library (Keller Branch) will be checking out summertime cookbooks and sharing info about their summer reading program for all ages! Be sure to stop by for live music at our Wednesday and Thursday markets this week as well. Patrick Cooper will be grooving at the Wednesday farmers market and the gentlemen from the Bad Oyster Band will bring the noise on Thursday. Show some love for our local producers of food AND music at the Crescent City Farmers Market.
