Farmers markets are for everyone, including kids! The Crescent City Farmers Market has a Marketeer Club to teach kids about healthy eating and nutrition. Join us at the Market the first Saturday of each month for Marketeer activities for kids. Parents are invited to participate in Marketeer activities or continue shopping. The first Marketeer Club event of February will be this Saturday, February 4th. See you there

Pick of the Week:
Farm tech!

This time of year, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers are all grown hydroponically. Normally, the field grown varieties can only be found spring, fall and summer. Technology is really extending our local season! Questions about hydroponic farming? Ask our vendors or market staff!

Ramen noodles

Ramen noodles made by Esses Foods are at the market! They’re gluten free and will satisfy your noodle craving. Cook them up any way you’d like!

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special:
Casa Borrega

This Tuesday is the last week to enjoy Casa Borrega as the Green Plate Special. Their tacos, burritos, and tostadas will work perfectly for breakfast or lunch. Enjoy them one last time from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 200 Broadway Street.
