The 2017 Eat Local Challenge is upon us. Can you challenge yourself to eat only foods grown, caught, or raised within 200 miles of New Orleans for thirty days? The goal is to raise awareness of the nutritional, economical, and environmental impact of eating local. Join us for the official Kick-off party on May 31st from 6-8 p.m. at Zeitgeist! Pick of the Week:
Battle of the Baguettes!

Hundreds of New Orleanians voted for their favorite baguette in the city, and our very own Kelly Mayhew of Mayhew’s Bakery is a finalist! On Thursday, June 1st at 6:30 p.m., you can root him on to win ultimate bragging rights as best baguette maker in New Orleans. Tickets and more details can be found here.

They have arrived! It’s officially peach season at the Crescent City Farmers Market. The Durhams will be at the Tuesday market with their first peaches of the season. Go get ‘em!

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special:
