Nutrition education should be hands-on and fun. We have designed our own version of bingo to inform first time seniors how to make the most of the Market: from health considerations to the rhythm of seasonal eating. Let our staff come to your community center or church group to lead an afternoon of Farmers Market Bingo.
Intended to serve as an introduction to a Meet Me at the Market tour, everyone is a winner! You win Market goodies in Farmers Market Bingo. However, by simply playing Farmers Market Bingo, you fill a condition for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program participants to receive a matching value in market tokens (we call Crescents) as part of our conditional cash transfer strategies.
Schedule Farmers Market Bingo for your community. A pilot project, it is designed for vulnerable seniors.
