They dream up fresh, affordable plate lunches that showcase the local, seasonal ingredients available at the CCFM. Meet a friend for lunch, or pick up dinner & take a night off from cooking. The city's top chefs shop at the Market. Each month, they also take turns cooking there too.

Last week we loved having Rue Chow at market, and this week we look forward to seeing the big red La Cocinita truck again. Come grab a spicy (or not), tasty, and latin-inspired lunch this Tuesday. Next week, look forward to Frencheeze Food Truck!

October 21st

The big red truck that is La Cocinita has been helping hungry market shoppers grab a quick lunch for 2 weeks now, and we are continually excited about their delicious, fresh offerings. This week, grab a taco, arepa, bowl, or “burri-taco” this week and make market your freshest, most fun lunch break yet!

October 14th

In addition to La Cocinita’s usual menu line-up, we’ve got two special lunch items to look forward to this Tuesday: Watermelon-Mint Agua Fresca, and Local Veggie Arepas (Venezuelan cornmeal patties stuffed with chile-roasted sweet potatoes, braised kale, green onions, purple cabbage slaw, queso fresco and roasted jalapeño salsa). We can’t wait for Tuesday!

October 7th

We’re so glad to have La Cocinita back to market this month as our Green Plate Special vendors for the month of October! You’ve probably seen this red food tuck around town, or at our Thursday market where you can find them most weeks, dishing up fresh, gourmet Latin American cuisine. From tacos to arepas, you can expect to find La Cocinita dishing up authentic Latin Ameircan dishes all month long at our Tuesday market from 9-1pm. Be sure to come on out and grab a plate!
