Bottomlans Agricultural Cooperative
Bottomlands Agricultural Cooperative is a newly formed, state-certified marketing co-op formed of 11 farmers, nursery growers, beekeepers, craftspeople, and other producers in the greater New Orleans area. We've been building this collective since 2023, to lower the barriers to bringing our plant starts, fresh produce, cut flowers, and value-added products to broader communities. Bottomlands is born out of a shared vision for a cooperative, horizontally organized agricultural marketing system, with a goal of building community through collaboration.
Our members who are currently active at CCFM markets include:

Rotglow Research Farm, which produces native trees and shrubs, grafted and seed-grown fruit trees, and forest-farmed mushrooms;
Rainbow in the Dark, a queer-owned flower farm and plant nursery, growing specialty cut flowers on a few city lots in the Lower Ninth Ward;
Honeywild, treatment free beekeepers. Rehoming and learning from wild hives, and tending to hives all across town. Bringin’ honey, candles, and boot wax and other bees wax products to market;
Delta Flora Native Plants, a native plant nursery celebrating the natural beauty of Gulf Coast ecosystems; and
Too Tall Farm & Nursery, growing open pollinated, locally adapted vegetable, herb, and flower plant starts in the Lower Ninth Ward.
