Pick of the Week: Eggplant!

Also known as aubergine, this summer favorite is making an appearance on tables all over market. Known for it’s beautiful purple color, this veggie is high in antioxidants and low in saturated fat and cholesterol. Try them grilled, added to pasta, or pick up a container of Nur’s Kitchen’s Baba Ganoush for a treat!

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special

This week, look for a choice of zucchini with creole cream cheese, and mushrooms, sausage and pepper sliders, assorted bruschettas and a boston cream pie for Red Gravy’s last week under the Green Plate Special tent. Get your fix of their delicious food anytime at their downtown restaurant!
