It may not feel like it outside, but autumn is creeping in! Mustard greens have made their first appearance at the market. We’ve missed them!

Mustard greens are an overlooked but delicious vegetable variety. It’s astonishing just how nutritious they are! One cup of mustard greens contains 500% of the daily recommended value of Vitamin K, 85% of your daily Vitamin A, 60% of your Vitamin C, and loads of fiber, protein, and calcium. So not only are the tasty, but they’re one of the most nutritious vegetable you can consume. And get this - one cup of mustards is only 20 calories!

Pick of the Week:
Moonlight Market

Moonlight Market is one month away and we’re geeking out with excitement! We managed to get 34 of the best bars and restaurants in town at the same place at the same time. Have you seen the food and drink lineup yet?! It’s drool-worthy. Plus we’re having a killer silent auction, live music from The Tin Men, and a photobooth where you can bring out your inner farmer. Patrons will experience an exclusive spread from Coquette and Chef Kristin Essig, wine from Pearl Wine Co., and cocktails from Bar Tonique. All tickets can be purchased online here or at any CCFM.

Marketeers

Want to educate your kids on nutrition and seasonality? Our Marketeer Club is for our youngest shoppers, the ones who are the next generation of eaters. The first Saturday of every month is dedicated to Marketeer activities to educate eaters under 12 years on the essence of farmers markets. Visit the Welcome Tent to sign up and receive a special present on your birthday! See you Saturday!
