Cauliflower

Graffiti and cheddar cauliflower (purple and gold) can be found at each farmers market this week! Add a green vegetable to the mix and you’re ready for Mardi Gras!

Blood Oranges

Hip hip hooray! We have blood oranges! Grab them while you can on Tuesday from L’hoste Citrus.

Tuesday’s Green Plate Special:
Fete au Fete

It’s the last Tuesday with Fete au Fete as the Green Plate Special. Visit them at 200 Broadway Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for your final serving of trash grits this month.

Beet & Shrimp Winter Salad

We have tons of greens and beets, so why not throw together a salad? Don’t forget you can use beet greens as your base too. Top it off with market fresh shrimp and you have a healthy and delicious meal. The recipe is for one serving, but it’s easy to multiply for families.
